Which sectors join and when
Phase A — fines from 12 October 2026
Healthcare (private clinics, diagnostic and therapy centres — not doctors' practices), employment services, telecommunications, hairdressers and beauty centres, cleaning services, building and grounds maintenance.
Phase B — fines from 16 November 2026
Consulting, advertising and market research, office services, repairs (e.g. computers, vehicles), storage and logistics, water and waste management, gambling.
What non-compliance costs
According to press reports, fines range from €2,000 to €10,500 per employee, the highest applying to failing to activate the card for in-scope staff. Exact scope depends on your activity code — confirm it with your accountant.
New sectors FAQ
How do I know if my business is in the new sectors?
Scope follows the main activity code (KAD). Send us your code and headcount and we will tell you which phase applies; your accountant gives the final confirmation.
Can I make it before 12 October?
For small and mid-sized businesses with one or a few branches, setup usually takes a few working days. The sooner we talk, the more comfortable the team trial.
My staff have no company email. Does it work?
Yes. A tablet at the entrance with a personal QR badge and PIN is enough. No email, password or personal phone is needed.
My crews work at client sites (cleaning, maintenance). What then?
They clock in from a phone with geofencing, so it only works at the declared site.
How much does it cost?
A monthly per-user subscription with no contract lock-in. We send a tailored quote the same day we talk.
Will my accountant's workflow change?
Only for the better: they receive ready monthly attendance and overtime reports and see the ERGANI protocol numbers on one screen.
